An accomplished business driver and executive, Keith Pellerin is a decisive leader of organizations, people, and projects in insurance and financial services, achieving sustainable growth globally and domestically.

As PRESIDENT, SHORE INSURANCE GROUP, Keith is providing solutions to both consumer and group markets through arranging placement of products, technology, distribution access and administrative services to engage customer channels through best in class user experiences. Shore also provides go to market strategies and structures and enables machine learning and AI solutions to optimize customer insight, engagement, persistency and risk mitigation for its clients.

As PRESIDENT, BUSINESSOLVER AGENCY and the VOLUNTARY MARKETS DIVISION, Keith set the Voluntary Markets strategic roadmap and managed the P&L to achieve triple digit revenue and profitability growth, establishing new products, segments and platform relationships to engage and acquire new customers. Strategic accomplishments include first to market ‘one wallet’ (retirement products now delivered with employee benefits at enrollment), MyChoice Market™ – first platform and voluntary benefits offerings for individuals transitioning from group benefits environment, and API quote and bind capabilities delivered during enrollment for both L, A, H and P&C solutions.

As HEAD OF PRODUCT & INNOVATION at AFLAC, Keith set product strategy and drove product and market performance across all Aflac channels and segments, enabling delivery of $1.3B annual premium in Life, Disability and A&H lines through a market leading suite of differentiated products and channel capabilities for all core segments.

As PRESIDENT, BANK OF AMERICA INSURANCE GROUP, Keith led the Global Consumer Insurance Division in profitable revenue growth (Life, P&C, Reinsurance, Global Insurance & Benefits Solutions), growing revenue from $70M to >$1 Billion, net income from $15M to >$350M and the customer base from 56k to 3.1 million, through expanding geographies, channels, affinity relationships and products and through deepening customer relationships.

  • PRESIDENT – BANC OF AMERICA INSURANCE SVCS, INC., a full national multi-carrier agency offering P&C, Life and other insurance products through 11 channels (>$600M annual premium)
  • PRESIDENT – GENERAL FIDELITY INSURANCE CO., BA INSURANCE GROUP, and FLEET INSURANCE CO. (offering and underwriting traditional and commercial P&C, reinsurance and casualty coverage, annual premium >$220M)
  • PRESIDENT – GENERAL FIDELITY LIFE INSURANCE CO., NATIONSBANC INSURANCE. CO., BALBOA LIFE INS. CO. and FLEET LIFE INS. CO. (underwriting traditional life, accident, and reinsurance coverage, annual premium >$170M)
  • PRESIDENT, BA INTERNATIONAL UNDERWRITERS LTD.; BANK OF AMERICA REINSURANCE CORP. and FOUNDER, PEMBRACE SYNDICATE (LLOYD’S OF LONDON) – Globally established businesses generating >$200 Million in annual premium through newly founded Lloyd’s syndicate and through new product offerings, strategic alliances and building customer bases in EUROPE, ASIA AND NORTH AMERICA.
  • PRINCIPAL, BANK OF AMERICA BENEFITS SOLUTIONS – generated > 250 new corporate client relationships (including 3 Fortune 50 companies) through the design and delivery of proprietary consumer directed healthcare solutions for insurance through a nationally distributed team of Benefits Sales Consultants. Keith has also served as CHIEF RISK OFFICER and CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER for Bank of America’s Insurance Group prior to which he served as CENTRAL CONTROLLER, Bank of America Corporate Finance. Keith’s insurance expertise also includes leadership roles with ALLSTATE in Finance, Claims and Operations, with PRUDENTIAL in Sales as an Agent and with EQUITABLE (AXA) in Agency Management. A pioneer, inventor and innovator, Keith was awarded a U.S. patent for his work in methods and systems for Debt Protection. He was also a Founder of the first Lloyd’s of London syndicate to be sponsored by a U.S. bank and a Founder of the first financial subsidiary created under GLBA. Having served over 10 years on the Board of Directors of the American Bankers Insurance Association, Keith has also been active on Capitol Hill issues.

Keith earned an MBA from the Belk School of Business at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte and a B.S. in Finance and International Business from the University of Tennessee.
